Default I would like to start shopping for baby clothes, but i have a quick question :)?

So im almost half way through my pregnancy!..yay! ... i think its finally set in, i know there's still a chance, but the chance of a miscarriage is slim right now and iv heard the heartbeat twice, isn't that the most amazing sound ever? i think im finally letting myself get excited because i think everything is going to be okay so i would like to start shopping for baby clothes, i don't know what im having yet but that's okay. what size should i buy? should i go w/ newborn or should i go w/ 0-3 months? thanks in advance

I would buy a little bit of both 0-3 months and the size above it too because they grow very fast most of the time. But I really wouldn't buy too much of the 0-3 months. And 0-3 months is pretty much for newborns too but if you just buy newborns they will def. grow out of it really quick. Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.

I think you should wait until you know the sex of your baby before you start buying clothes... but if your ready to start buying them without knowing the sex.... then go with 0-3 just in case.

Get some of the newborn and the 0-3 months. However my daughter came home in preemie since everything else looked huge on her. She was 7 lb 12oz so a normal size baby but still fit in preemies for about a month or so.

I initially thought that I wouldn't need the newborn size because it;s 5-8lbs, so if you have a big baby, he/she isnt going to fit.. however, I had a 6lb 14oz baby and she was in newborn clothes for a while! She just turned 3 months 3 days ago and is still in 0-3 months! So, I would get a couple of newborn outfits and keep the tags and receipts so if your baby is too big you can return it.. if not, someone can wash the outfits for you and bring it to the hospital.

Yes it's amazing isn't it. Best bet is to get a few newborn outfits, remember to get the right seasonal clothing. And then get some 0-3 months. You can get some 3-6 months also.

I would even pick up a few preemie outfits! My boy was a full-term 6 lb 8 oz boy, very normal pregnancy just a smaller baby. We had newborn outfits for his pics and he drowned in them! It's unbelievable how small they are. I would definitely say that 0-3 will more than likely be too large at first, but in a few weeks he/she will need them. Don't believe what the tags say as far as weight goes, it's not always correct from my experience. This is such an exciting time for you!!! Have a blast shopping!
